Bed Bases
At Shire Beds we offer 2 ranges of bed bases – The Artisan range and The Essentials range. Our bed bases include divan, ottoman and guest beds and each range has its own specially selected fabrics that you can choose from.
Artisan Divan
This is a strengthened handmade divan base which comes fully padded then upholstered with our luxury Artisan range fabrics. It has metal hidden links for strength and chrome plated Shepherd design castors. This is made as a 12” base as it is usually purchased with a deeper mattress in mind. The standard drawer options are also available with this base.
Essentials Divan
This standard 14” deep divan base offers a less costly option for both you and your customers, while still using quality fabrics and handmade to a high standard. This product offers all the standard drawer options but has a linking bar and chrome glides.
End Lift Ottoman
Our end lift ottoman bed base is available in both the Artisan and Essentials fabric ranges. The German gas lift system is both stronger and smoother than many of the Eastern imports to ensure longevity.
Side Lift Ottoman
Our side lift ottoman bed base is available in both the Artisan and Essentials fabric ranges. The German gas lift system is both stronger and smoother than many of the Eastern imports to ensure longevity.
Guest Bed
A high-quality full-sized luxury guest bed with the under bed also benefitting from being a full size single (3’0 x 6’3) and finished in a range of selected fabrics. The guest bed can take a wide range of mattresses from our Essentials mattress collections. We include a zip on the mattresses when purchased as a set to reduce the chance of separation when the guest bed is used as the double sleeping surface.
Headboards
We offer headboards in a range of styles to match the fabric on most of our products. These can be customised to suit your requirements. View our headboards page to see the styles available.
